KCD Makes Strategic Move with Top Management

NEW YORK, Jan. 11, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- KCD has begun a new chapter in its 30-year history by naming eight partners from senior management to join Julie Mannion and Ed Filipowski at the helm of the company worldwide. The new partners have an average tenure of 15 years with the agency and bring a broad leadership vision and range of expertise.

"The agency/client relationship has changed as fashion has evolved in the past decade. Thinking broader and bigger is thinking better," said Filipowski.  "Clients at every level want an agency that is structured with top-level management capable of providing industry insight and guidance."

The new partners are:

Renee Barletta, Partner
Jarrad Clark, Partner, Director of Creative Services
Txampi Diz, Partner, Managing Director KCD Paris
Marty Griffeth, Partner, Director of Finance
Laurence Laure, Partner, Managing Director KCD Paris
Nan Richards, Partner, Managing Director KCD London
Rachna Shah, Partner, Managing Director PR and Digital
Kerry Youmans, Partner

Each partner will have an ownership stake in the company.  Mannion and Filipowski are now Co-Chairmen from their previous Co-President titles.  In 1990, as employees, Mannion and Filipowski were named partners by KCD's original founders Kezia Keeble, John Duka and Paul Cavaco.

"The skills of our new partners are well known in the industry, but their titles come with genuine acknowledgment of the wisdom, care and understanding each brings to those they work with through the agency," said Mannion.

The eight partners along with Mannion and Filipowski form the new KCD Worldwide Executive Committee that will now set strategic plans, cultivate new client services in line with industry developments and provide an authoritative global voice for the agencies.  KCD Worldwide has 94 employees and over 80 clients, spanning three generations of fashion.

The fashion agency KCD has offices in New York, Paris and London and five divisions: Media Relations, Creative Services, Digital, Entertainment and Technology and Consulting.
