The Sub-Fund’s objective is to achieve returns that are greater than, and relatively independent of, those generated by U.S. securities markets over the economic cycle. The Sub-Fund will attempt to meet its objective by investing at all times at least 50.1% of its net assets in long and synthetic short positions of equities and other securities similar to equities, including, but not limited to, equity linked notes, low exercise price warrants and warrants on equities, of North American issuers whose securities will be listed on a U.S. stock exchange or traded on a U.S. regulated market and/or companies that conduct the majority of their business activities in the United States of America. There is no restriction regarding the market capitalization of these issuers.
