The objective of the Sub-fund is to provide a high level of income with some capital appreciation over the longer term. The Sub-fund aims to outperform the FTSE World Europe ex UK Index (EUR) benchmark with a yield greater than the benchmark before charges. It seeks to achieve this objective primarily through investment in high yielding equities and equity related securities of corporations domiciled in European countries (which might include emerging markets of Europe), excluding the UK, or companies that derive a significant proportion of their revenues or profits from European operations or have a significant proportion of their assets there. A significant proportion may be invested in fixed interest securities.
