The Global Markets Fund is a unique, higher-volatility systematic trend following fund. It trades a very diverse universe of futures markets, including smaller and less conventional commodities. The fund seeks to capture price trends and accepts volatility in the pursuit of high absolute returns. To protect existing investors and maintain full trade sizing across its universe, the fund's AUM are capped at about €500 million. Following an ensemble approach, the fund trades a combination of robust, trend-based systems across multiple trading speeds and methods in parallel. Positions are sized so that each can contribute an equal amount of initial risk to the portfolio. An important part of the risk management process is to keep losing trades small while allowing winning trades to run on, creating positive trade asymmetry.
