Procore Appoints Ajei Gopal As CEO, Confirms Outlook; Stock Gains In After-hours

(RTTNews) - Procore Technologies Inc. (PCOR), a provider of construction management software, announced the appointment of Ajei Gopal as Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Founder, President, and CEO Tooey Courtemanche.

Further, Procore reaffirmed its third-quarter and fiscal 2025 guidance.

In the after-hours trading on the NYSE, the shares gained 3 percent to trade at $72.52. The shares had closed Monday's regular trading at $70.41, 1.26 percent lower.

The appointment would be effective following the release of its third-quarter results, with an anticipated start date of November 10.

Following the change, Courtemanche will focus on his role as Chair of the Board of Directors.

Gopal, with over 35 years of experience in technology companies, most recently served as the President and CEO of Ansys Inc. until its $35 billion acquisition by Synopsys.

Prior to Ansys, he had held senior leadership positions at Hewlett-Packard, CA Technologies, and Symantec, among others.
