SABMiller FY Group NPR Down 8% On Adverse Currency - Quick Facts
(RTTNews) - SABMiller Plc. (SBMRY.PK, SAB.L), reported Thursday that its group net producer revenue or NPR for the full year a reported basis declined by 8 percent, due to the adverse translational impact on the company's results of the depreciation of its key operating currencies against the U.S. dollar.
However, group NPR, on an organic, constant currency basis grew by 5 percent. The company said that the growth in group NPR includes beverage volume growth of 2 percent, and price and mix realisation of 3 percent. Lager volumes grew by 1 percent for the full year.
Group NPR for the full year on Premium lager brand volumes grew by 6 percent, with good performances across many of its key markets, supported by global lager brands volume growth of 9 percent.
Soft drinks volumes grew by 6 percent for the full year, with growth in Africa held back somewhat by a more subdued performance in Latin America.
