Telefónica Tech Collaborates With IBM To Advance Quantum-Safe Technology
(RTTNews) - Telefonica Tech, a subsidiary of Spanish telecommunications firm Telefonica, S.A. (TEF.MC), Thursday announced a collaboration with International Business Machines Corp. (IBM) to develop quantum-safe technology.
Under the collaboration, IBM's quantum-safe technologies would be integrated with Telefonica Tech's portfolio of services to identify and address cryptography vulnerabilities in infrastructures of organizations.
The partnership aims to develop security solutions to combat challenges posed by future cryptographically relevant quantum computers, providing protection to critical data of organizations.
In the pre-market hours, IBM is trading at $247.65, up 8.32 percent on the New York Stock Exchange.
