South Korea Inflation Data Due On Friday
(RTTNews) - South Korea will on Friday see February figures for consumer prices and January numbers for current account, highlighting a light day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.
Overall inflation is expected to rise 0.4 percent on month and 2.1 percent on year after adding 0.4 percent on month and 2.0 percent on year in January. The current account surplus was $18.70 billion in December.
Taiwan also will see February figures for inflation; in January, overall inflation was up 0.1 percent on month and 0.69 percent on year.
