Axcelis Secures $100 Mln Share Repurchase Approval
(RTTNews) - Axcelis Technologies, Inc. (ACLS), a provider of equipment and services to the semiconductor manufacturing industry, on Wednesday announced that its Board of Directors has approved an additional $100 million in share repurchase authorization.
This approval brings the current outstanding repurchase authorization to $215 million.
According to President and CEO Russell Low, the Company plans to use this authorization to boost its quarterly share buybacks while keeping a strong balance sheet.
In the pre-market trading, Axcelis is 2.41% higher at $58.99 on the Nasdaq.
