Veracyte's Decipher Can Help Men Detect Prostate Cancer

(RTTNews) - On Friday, Veracyte, Inc. (VCYT) announced new data showing that its Decipher Prostate Genomic Classifier can help identify men with very high-risk, nonmetastatic prostate cancer who may benefit from adding abiraterone to androgen deprivation therapy (ADT).

Dr. Sarah Howlett of University College London will present the findings at the ESMO Congress 2026.

A retrospective analysis of the Phase III STAMPEDE trial provided Level 1B evidence that Decipher can predict which men with very high-risk, nonmetastatic prostate cancer are most likely to benefit from adding abiraterone to ADT.

These findings strengthen Decipher's role in guiding treatment decisions and build on its established use in assessing cancer progression risk, as well as earlier STAMPEDE findings included in the 2027 NCCN prostate cancer guidelines.

On the Nasdaq, the shares were trading 2.28 percent up at $47.09.
