Kennametal Boosts FY27 Adj. EPS Outlook - Update

(RTTNews) - While reporting financial results for the first quarter on Wednesday, industrial technology firm Kennametal, Inc. (KMT) provides outlook for the second quarter, and raised its adjusted earnings guidance for the full-year 2027, while reiterating annual sales outlook.

For the second quarter, the company expects adjusted earnings in a range of $1.20 to $1.50 per share on sales between $785 million and $815 million.

For fiscal 2026, the company now projects adjusted earnings in a range of $5.00 to $6.00 per share, up from the prior forecast in the range of $4.15 to $5.15 per share. Meanwhile, sales are still expected between $3.33 billion and $3.45 billion.

Kennametal also announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.20 per share, payable on November 23, 2026 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on November 9, 2026.

In Wednesday's pre-market trading, KMT is trading on the NYSE at $31.49, up $0.96 or 3.14 percent.
