Law enforcement vendor Axon Enterprise (NASDAQ: AXON) posted strong year-over-year growth in the first quarter and raised its guidance for the year. Investors cheered the results, sending Axon shares up 12% as of 10:30 a.m. ET.Image source: Axon Enterprise.Axon, the maker of tasers, body cameras, evidence tracking software, and other products for law enforcement customers, earned $1.41 per share in the first quarter on sales of $604 million, easily topping Wall Street's estimate of $1.24 per share on sales of $586 million.
